"Reawakening" a horizontal canvas print
Before sunset, the rain cleared and we were able to explore this beautiful river delta uninhibited. My spirits lightened with the sky, a reawakening of the simple joy of spending time with someone I love.
From the artist: Our kids went to stay with their grandparents and we were alone for the first weekend since becoming parents. As we explored the river delta together, the sky lightened and the rain departed. I felt refreshed in a way I can’t express: no responsibilities, just fresh air and a sense of adventure with someone I love.
To me, this painting represents the rebirth of spring and a rekindling of old relationships—both with others, and within ourselves.
This piece is printed on lovely, gallery-quality matte canvas with a giclée printer to show all the texture and vibrancy of its original. After being hand-cut in the studio, it will arrive unstretched in either a protective mailer or tube.
